Trenching Machines
Imants deep-tilling machines loosen the soil to a working depth of 135 cm and break up disruptive layers beneath the topsoil. They are primarily used for soil improvement in preparation for new plantings with a long growing season, such as asparagus, grapevines, and fruit trees.
There are models for tractors ranging from 40 to 360 pk. In deep tillage, the entire working depth is turned over and partially mixed, without completely blending the topsoil with the subsoil.
