How does an Imants tiller work?
Imants’ SX tillers are rotary tillers. The tines are attached to the tiller shaft via a steel arm and turn the soil over, rather than milling or turning it. In the 58 series, six tine arms form a row. The working depth depends on the series. Imants offers models that work at shallow depths, starting at about 12 cm, as well as models designed for very deep soil cultivation.
What digging yields:
- Organic matter is mixed into the soil throughout the entire working depth
- The soil's capillary action remains intact
- You can till the soil in a single pass, which saves time and fuel
- An even, loose seedbed
Which Imants tiller is right for you?
From small tilling machines to towed models
The lineup ranges from compact tillers to heavy-duty models for crop farming and contract work. For a smaller tractor, check out the 27SX through 33SX series. The 38SX, 40SX, 44SX, 48SX, and 58SX are designed for larger farms and wider working widths. In addition, Imants offers the 46 and 56 series, the WX series, the Eco-MIX, and deep tillers for very deep soil cultivation. There are also trailed models, such as the 38FSX and the 58 series.
One example is the Imants 48SX300H, which has a working width of 3 meters and a working depth of 20 to 35 cm. This model is suitable for tractors up to approximately 250 pk and features a PTO and mounting points for attaching another machine, such as a seeder. This allows you to combine work passes.
