New Kuhn balers and wrappers
As a Kuhn dealer, we supply balers and wrappers for hay, straw, and silage. You can choose between balers with a fixed or variable chamber, wrapper combinations that bale and wrap in a single pass, and standalone wrappers. See our product lineup below. Kuhn Bale Presses
Fixed or variable room?
Kuhn manufactures round balers with a fixed chamber (the FB series) and with a variable chamber (the VB series), as well as square balers (the LSB and SB series). With a fixed-chamber baler, the bale diameter is fixed. With a variable-chamber baler, you can adjust it yourself, for example, to accommodate a different crop or market. The choice depends on the crop, the moisture content, and the type of bales you need. Different models are available for hay and straw, dry silage, and wet silage.
Options available for Kuhn balers:
- Round balers with a fixed chamber (FB) or variable chamber (VB)
- Square balers (LSB and SB)
- The Integral Rotor feed system for a uniform crop flow
- OptiCut cutting system, available with 14 or 23 blades, among other options, for optimal cutting length when harvesting silage
- Bound with netting, and on some models also with string or plastic film
- A version with a winder at the back; see below
Baling with Kuhn
Wrapping Combinations and Wrappers
If you want to bale and wrap in a single pass, check out Kuhn’s baler-wrapper combinations, such as the i-BIO+ and the FBP and VBP series. This way, you have a single machine, and the bale is wrapped immediately after baling. You can also opt for a separate wrapper: the RW series wrappers are towed behind the tractor, while the SW series wrappers wrap bales in one spot. Models are available for round and square bales, as well as models with a dual wrapping arm or remote control. Some balers, such as the FB 3135, come factory-equipped with a trailer hitch for an inline wrapper.
