Fertilizing with Rauch

What types of fertilizer spreaders are there?

A fertilizer spreader distributes fertilizer evenly across the field. Rauch manufactures two main types. The twin-disc spreader, such as the AXIS and MDS series, is the most popular model. A pneumatic spreader, such as the AERO GT, is designed for large working widths and even distribution. In addition, Rovadi offers the AXENT, the UKS GB, and the TWS. The right type depends on your field size, working width, and fertilizer.

What you can choose from among Rauch spreaders:

  • Dual-disc spreader or pneumatic spreader
  • Models such as AXIS, MDS, AERO GT, and AXENT
  • Various tank capacities, for small and large businesses
  • ISOBUS for control via the tractor terminal
  • Models equipped with load cells for weighing during spreading
  • Border spreading along the edge of the lot

Which Rauch spreader is right for you?

Consider hectares, tractors, and fertilizer

Start by determining the number of hectares you want to fertilize per day. That determines the tank capacity and the working width. Next, consider your tractor: a mounted spreader must be compatible with its lifting capacity. Finally, the fertilizer matters, because particle size and weight determine how far the spreader can throw the fertilizer. For precise distribution along the field edges, there are models with edge-spreading capabilities.

Would you like ISOBUS or load cells on your spreader, or are you unsure which model is right for you? Contact us, and we'll work with you to assess your situation.
