Soil Preparation
The VariX Twinrotor is a unique tiller with two rotor shafts, each operating at a different working depth. The working depth of the twinrotor shaft is hydraulically adjustable. The main rotor works the soil to a maximum depth of 25 cm and provides enough loose soil to form beds or ridges.
First, a ridge former shapes the ridge, and behind it, the second rotor works over the top of the ridge to a depth of 1 to 5 cm to create a perfect, finely crumbled seedbed.
