Onion Technology
The MacLouis KBG foliage beater has been specially designed for defoliating onions, pearl onions, chicory, carrots, and red beets. This foliage beater removes the foliage from the crop using flails. The flails fling the foliage upward, where it falls into a auger.
This auger conveys the foliage to the side. Behind the flails are blades that trim the crop, resulting in a cleaner crop.
